MILE 118.5 KWAGAMA LAKE LODGE
Train-In Wild Brook Trout (Speckled Trout) Lodge – Kwagama Lake Lodge
Kwagama Lake Lodge is located two hours north of Sault Ste. Marie and south of Wawa & Hawk Junction and in the heart of the best Brook Trout fishing in Ontario. The lodge is very remote with Lake Superior Provincial Park on three sides, the Agawa Canyon is on the fourth side and nestled among the mountains of Northern Ontario. Kwagama Lake Lodge has offered WILD TROPHY BROOK TROUT since 1935. This secluded spring-fed lake contains only Brook Trout (Speckled Trout) and is only accessible by floatplane or train. In the olden days, guests used to come by train and climb up out of the canyon with ropes before making the hike to the lodge.  Today we transport you 12 km from train to lake with ATV’s and trailers.  Brook Trout between 15 and 19-inches are most common but many trophies up to 23 inches and bigger trout get taken. We support all methods of fishing such as fly-fishing, trolling, and spin-casting.  All lodging, meals, boats, motor and gas are included in our packages. www.kwagamalakelodge.com
