Our private car excursions operate year round (dependent on seasonal schedules) and your tour will begin at our depot in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.

Food service aboard our private cars include a large selection of entrees for your dining pleasure. For dinner we offer such palate pleasers as fresh Lake Superior Trout, Filet Mignon or tender BBQ Ribs, to name a few. As well, generous helpings of salad, seasonal vegetables, cheese and relish trays and all the little extras.

While we recommend a hearty breakfast to start the day off, you are always welcome to choose from any of our delicious group breakfasts. PRIVATE CAR AGAWA

This car was built by Barney and Smith in Dayton, Ohio in 1913. It first worked on the Longview, Portland and Northern until 1930 when it was sold to Wabash. Algoma Central became the proud owners in 1953. The Agawa has been completely restored and certainly portrays the grandeur of its past.
